野ばら

Well, finally got time to sit down and update myself on this rather siong week.
And I've only got 30min to do so, 'cos I am needa go Novena at 11, go back to camp to put down my things, and then go exercise and study.

Monday morning went Bt Indah with Yuhung. Normally when I go out alone I don't eat in restoran, so can say is 托他的福 lah, we went to eat some Chinese herbal soup which is very nice. Very very nice. Chinese medicine FTW~~

Then we went to eat Secret Recipe. I love their Mango cakes. I ate two slices. Which is actually not enough normally, but since I ate 3 bowls of rice for the Chinese medicine, it's okay. I'm getting seriously FAT.

At night went to crash NJ Prom '10 with Yuhung and Ka Tsun. Ka Tsun damn popular among girls sia hahahaha

And his picture all long damn funny hahahahahaha

And this is NJ Prom Queen! She deserve it I think lah. By the way, she's a Gan. Hmm. Maybe next year Haoqing can carry on the Gan legacy hahaha.

I'M NOT THE SCARY ONE, SHE IS:

SO BEAUTIFUL.

After that went back to change a while, didn't get to sleep at all. So the dreamy me appeared in Orchard Road on a Tuesday morning...

2 things always makes people happy: Blue Sky and Rainbows. Especially nowadays rain suka-suka come one, I really hate rain. I rather it be scorching hot. :(

Alright Jingxi came and we went to see the Pompeii exhibition. I think one day we gotta make a petition for NSF to exempt all entrance fees because we are handling this dangerous and hazardous task of 保家卫国ing... To quote from my SSG James, the reason everyone is going to work/school peacefully is because of the existence of us. How true. Hahaha.

Then... it's time to book in. HOHOHOHOHOHO.
Being a Corporal (CPL) for a long time got an advantage: You know what's ACTUALLY going on.

Let me give you an example.

An email says that we are supposed to report to SI at 9am.
So I appeared at 8.30am.
The poor cadets who were posted here directly from Pasir Laba came as early as 6.45am.

Why?
Because even though the email said 9am, their OC said 8.30. Then message passed down to their PC, and it became 8am. Then, this message went down again to 7.30 through their Cadet leaders. So cadets, being kiasu, decide to report at 7.

Everybody says Play Safe, and this is what happens. How typical of noob soldiers.

Anyway, the course is quite siong. Mentally siong. Seriously these two days I'm like suffering lah, because my Physics foundation is really NOOB BIG TIME.. And I have no idea what all those router/network/host/client things are all about........

I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.  I HATE PHYSICS.

This batch of cadets I am with enlisted into NS half a year later than me, meaning I ORD half a year earlier than them. Yet they are all older than me. I'm like the second youngest here. And they are all Poly students. I seriously think they have an advantage. D:

Same things here, it's only been two days, and the perception of me are as follows:
1. I am a regular.
2. I look like 23.
3. I studied at ITE Simei.
4. I cannot pass IPPT.
5. I'm Taiwanese. Yay.

Regarding to Point One, well, I WAS ALMOST a regular. By the way, the Sergeants here are starting to entice me to sign again. Quoting him, "Go where find one place where you can go gym during office hours and people still say you good soldier.....? 6 years earn 300k leh... Sign on good life here for Signals lah...." Okay I'm still thinking, but no one so far has been as convincing as my Command Team back in Pasir Laba. They were quality soldiers, but the ones here........... cannot compare lah. After all, SIG and INF/GDS got a lot difference.

And I don't like people to compare vocations/jobs. I believe that no job is easy, no matter you're in Logistics or Infantry or Armor or wherever. People can say Signals is slack, but I don't think so. The brain-work is too intensive liao, I rather go back to forest and run around because no need use brain, AT ALL. And for those who think they are in very siong places like Recce, please stop showing off your SIONG-NESS and put down others. Everyone plays a part in NS. So what if your brother flies jets in the Air Force, without fuel, without Air Crew Specialists, without people jaga-ing the gates, your brother can fly annot? A bit unfair to compare like that right?
Some girls are just too superficial to understand about the toughness of life in NS.

Anyway, for Point Two, my face chao-lao lah... I know.... Bo pian... Father mother born like that liao.... Last time training in Tapioca Island people thought I am Staff Sergeant alr... He say I got the seh.... Hahahaha.

Point Three. WTF. I don't look smart enough meh. Nabeh I throw all my Chinese at you, all of you will kena flooded..... But then again, there is no point to be smart in Army lah. Because all stupids and smarts do the same work. It's no use being book-smart here. It's street-smart that counts.

Point Four... The most "I-WANNA-KILL-THE-ONE-WHO-SAID-THAT" point of all. Damn. I am skinny but I've been getting IPPT Golds since Pri 6. By the way, the cadets in my course now are majority PES BP, or from BTP batch, meaning their physicaly isn't that good. A show of hands on Wednesday have shown that only 7 people got Gold, and 4 of us are OOCs hahahahaha.

Last point... It's always better than being a Chinaman, even though they are actually the same hahahahaha.

Now the problem is, TO SIGN OR NOT again?

If not, ORD LOH!
