Found loads of treasures in Jurong Library yesterday. Like 1980 Singapore Street Directory and tons of Chinese books that's printed in 1960s. Those page yellow yellow one lah, brown spots here and there. 真是捡到宝了！
Screw you ants for eating my Subway lunch now I must go buy another one. GRRR.
Went to Bukit Brown Cemetery today. Shall sort out the pictures soon. It's a pity that we always discover new things when we are actually about to lose them.
Sometimes people look at me with envy, "WTF, you living GPS ah? How come you know so many places one….?"
Actually there are many things that we can discover in Singapore, it’s just a pity that we do not have the time and energy for it. Which makes us look like a 文化沙漠 as compared to Taiwan Malaysia or even Hong Kong, which started out with similar history like us. One reason I wanna take up Architecture is to keep Cultural Conservation strong among us, so that in the future I can show my kids what our land has to offer them, and not just by tearing down old buildings because they are old.
I think the worst thing humans have invented is the handphone. With communications getting so easily available, it's no wonder information is passed down so quickly, and so are orders and demands and whatever crap there is.
And worst still, you lose your privacy. It's like, people can call you at any time they want and more foten then not, you'll just pick up the call and go &!@(>?@#$! ten minutes later.
Finished reading my book, called Malaysia Negara Kita (hahaha damn stupid name right). Not bad lah, with chapters like Penguasaan Ingerris Di Perak and Salasilah Pemerintahan Negeri Selangor, obviously it kills my time in the office right.
That said, my computer account is pink in color. YES, PINK FROM MICROSOFT WORD TO DESKTOP TO EMAILS TO ICONS.
It's a blessing I should say, to have a supposedly beautiful weekend getting myself stuck in camp doing nothing but reading/Facebooking/sleeping/eating/playing and waiting for things to happen, which most of the time (touch wood) won't.
Finally I have found myself time to start clearing junk on my table, in my bags, and inside my webpages. Which of course will include Facebook.
I have been using Facebook for like, 4 years already? Since Sec 4, as I remember. Back then Facebook was thought to be a copy of Friendster. Then things started to change. I remember J1 I started to play some Facebook games like some Pokemon stuff... Then J2 I started mass camwhoring and people started playing with Mousehunt (which I think is freaking stupid, clicking a bell every 15min?)... From Army times it started to include adverts and other annoying stuff, and this year they actually started with things that show your past status updates and pictures at the right bar, which I think is quite annoyi…
