晨·沉·尘

I think success and importance doesn’t all come from academics. And if that’s how people define their happiness, I think it’s pretty damn sad. Saw this on someone's blog. How true can it be. Back in NJ days someone in the hostel once told me so. Oh well, different life aspirations perhaps. Rambut sama hitam, hati lain-lain. His ego shan't eat into mine though. I'm insomnic. It's bad for health.

Hanabi

Was heavily spamming Jubeat at the arcade yesterday. Hahaha. Then got this song called 凛として咲く花の如く. Very got feel one~~~ Dun noe how to describe hahahahaha Today's a boring day, ended work at 1pm but I chose not to leave camp.

Dua ratus dua belas

Shit. Now Windows Live Spaces has gotten a free upgrade to Wordpress. GRRR. I wait don't know how many years already, now then provide upgrades.   D: Never mind, let them move it. That pink stuff is past tense already hahahaha. Anyway, thanks everyone for the well-wishes. 212 wall posts already hahahahahaha. AWESOME. Beat last year. Well, that fulfills my birthday wish already. Simple and delicate huh. AND SOMEONE ACTUALLY CHEATED BY POSTING 1.5HRS EARLIER. Two days of booking-out life is starting to bore me already. There seems like no where else to go in Singapore already. At this rate my bank money will DROP DROP DROP DROP...... Shall jio people out for makan and stuff for these two weeks. After all, after next week, once the new Cadets come in, ordeal will start again. Life is so boring . Shall reading Archi books to kill time. WHEN THE WHISTLE BLOW, SILENCE EVERYWHERE, AND THE FLAG GOES UP, IN THE BATTALION SQUARE....

Now 8 to 5 job, very free, so decided to go JB again to get food to fill my stomach at night in camp. Got so much time might as well take a stroll around right. After all, haven't been touring JB since last year. There's this 锦华茶餐室 that I wanna recommend. The Kopi and Toast is damn nice, nicer than whatever Toast Box or Ah Kun whatevers. Ah and the auntie there actually works at Hwachong Poolside on weekdays hahaha. Time seems to stop here, and at the corner of the street there's this  霍有用 liang-teh shop, where the shop is as black as the liang-teh itself hahahahaha. A lot of old shops here, and it seems that once the people meninggal dunia, their stories end here too. At the end of the street towards Jln Ungku Puan (Little India) there's this Salahuddin Bakery, the owner is like, 72 years old, Muslim, migrated from North India since young. He insists on baking his breads and naans using the traditional charcoal fired way. Impressive. Jalan Tan Hi...

nothing left to say

Somehow I'm finding her more and similar to Lady Gaga.               D:

beards.

Okay lah this is gonna be a rather random post. Cos I saw a lot of old man (and some not-so-young-ones) with long beards. Hmm why would people keep long beards? Old man don't say lah, got a lot arty-farty people also like that... Common conception is that people with beards look more 有分量, i.e. more important, like some big-shot. I don't know whether it's true for those arty-farty peeps, but from these following people who are OUTSTANDING in their relevant industries it is pretty true for them:

balik kampung...

Nun menghijau gunung ladang dan rimba Langit nan tinggi bertambah birunya Deru angin turut sama berlagu Semuanya bagaikan turut gembira Just went for a Hari Raya Dinner "Seloka Lebaran". Random Malay songs that I haven't been hearing for quite some time. I still remember, it was quite a feat to see myself surrounded by Muslims who were waiting for Iftar in the foodcourt, while the radio was tuned to wait for the prayer call hahaha. Long long time ago, when we still stayed in that ulu-ulu kampung in Negeri Sembilan... Haha nostalgia. Esok akan pergi JB dengan DJL and Henry William. YAY.

POP-loh?

It's over. All have gone. From next week, there will only be four people in bunk. Hope these Sergeants at Pulau Tekong treat their men the Leopard way. Jaiganesh saw my envy today while I cheered for the J Coy Contingent. How am I not envious when I could actually be part of them. And pass out, with the fact that my performance isn't too bad, to go to unit. You know, I like Hokkien-pengs. They're a challenge, but last time when I mingled with those Mohawk kids they were treasures. Haha. Let's anticipate what my WORKAHOLIC boss will give us next week. Having an 8-5 job is a good thing, but I'm pretty sure it comes with a price...... HAHAHAHAHA. Jaiganesh told me, "Dude, you'll have your day." Let's hope the clouds disperse and I quickly get a posting. I wouldn't mind a recourse; I can go Taiwan again in the winter.

嗜睡者

This few days slept a lot. Like I reached the "SLEEP LIMIT" already. Sleep Limit, means I reached the stage where I lie on bed but cannot sleep already. Sounds like damn slack right. Haha. Such slackness is relative lah. When you guys are slacking sometimes we are made to do shit, especially when the Devil OC "Tankie" shouts and shoot around the office. Was setting up posters for the various vocations at the Parade area. Then I was looking at this particular poster "04/10 SCS Pro Term". Then there was this picture, where we were doing route march. Me, Stanley, Jason, Marvin and Johnny featured at the front. That was when I was at the peak of my time, when I just signed my first two documents. Then now I OOC and set up this poster. WTF it's irony big time. The past 6 months has been ups and downs. I garang, I sign on, I injured, got my documents voided, then gave my best and last shot in Exercise, chaokeng-ed from then on, then OOC. Just like what...

20:46

Now it's pretty late, the library is gonna close soon, so I shall make this post short. Firstly, I am enjoying my recently gained freedom! The Cadets are passing out soon, so there's really little work for us (other than the last-minute crap at the longkang today, that made me appear late for a dinner-date ARGH). So at night can book out lah, provided we were good boys. OF COURSE I WAS A GOOD BOY. People call me GARANG SOLDIER okay... This friday is somehow gonna get screwed though. At first want go out makan one, but now, ARGH I don't think can liao. Never mind, I am appointed as an usher so can get to see many many people. Hahaha. I just like mingling around lah. The Sunday's lunch-cum-dinner-cum-blahblahblah was kinda fun, thanks to my two adorable juniors. Haha. You guys better study hard. Seriously. Joke from our 2IC: Me: Er, Encik ah I got this thing.....  blah blah blah.... Encik: I can don't want to do annot.... Me: Encik, must do lah.... Ser...

My dear Asics shoe never fails me. I'm starting to regain my fitness level till I reach my peak (currently is at BMT stage). In Taipei the Asics store actually have customisations and planned running routes around it's store in town. Hopefully one day we can see them here too. People are starting to post out already. Of course lah, it's still too early for me. I might needa wait for another two weeks at least. I hope I get posted overseas though, the life is good there and salary is UP UP UP UP UP! I maybe I should just pia for recourse. Get sergeant rank and get back what I have been missing out on so far. Or perhaps? Anyway i am adding Matsu to the list of places to visit before I die:

senang, left.

The SCTs are leaving as 3SGs after next friday. And most of the OOCs got their postings already. Which leaves the few pathetic newbie OOCs like us lying around the company office for another month or so. God wonders what's gonna happen during this period. Hopefully we get day-offs? I doubt so, but just hope lah huh. Tuesday went to NUS for my knee. No big issue, Mr. White-robe gave me another two different dates to see him ( a chance to leave camp! :) ). Wednesday was...... I don't know. I woke up at 6am to do some ushering jobs and then did almost nothing till the end of the day, unless you wanna count me running barefooted for about 1km to relay some important information. Today is Thursday. Braces day. As usual, braces is PINK . It can only be PINK RED or  PURPLE lah huh,  GREEN and BLUE looks too disgusting on my teeth lah. Tomorrow should have nothing also. Then Saturday morning book out. Then Sunday night come back. The...

i'm a fatty

It happened that FFI is non-existent at all, and an old man just scolded us for appearing in front him. "Eh you went through BSLC leh, Corporal already leh, you don't know listen instructions meh???" Which is like.... HUH? Never mind. Anyway I went for a short run and did some pull-ups and stuff. And it is indeed true that I have became weaker. Damn. Argh. Too long never exercise already. All the meat all became stiff le. DIE LAH.

Tomorrow will be my FFI day. Where they will check my body to see whether I am fit for any recourse or not. In which I definitely wanna pass. Come on I want to get my Specialist rank okay. My life can put aside first de lah. But then again, I still have 50+ days of OOC. The moment they recourse me to the new place, I OOC straightaway at the new place. I wonder the Encik there will be happy to see a new saikang warrior added to his team or be sad that some useless idiot arrives at his place and wasting his food. We shall see. Anyway last night class gathering was fun. Dear PN we're indeed fated lah huh later you become PM Datuk Seri Lim and I become PM Yang .    *glee* Life's a Jägerbomb :

Oh well, moving on, Spaces is getting more and more inconvenient to use. Might as well move here, at least I have more freedom to choose a skin that I want. So three weeks at the Island Tapioca was.... intriguing. Like what I always say, my job is busy and slack as an OOC who isn't attached to anyone. Or rather, I am attached to EVERYONE because I have no specific job scope. Basically what I do there is to translate and relay message, 偶尔 do some saikang at the stores, eat sleep drink make merry, and spamming Chinese as if I'll never get to speak Mandarin and Hokkien ever again here. The forests are beautiful lah. For those poor green fellas who were doing some "amazing race" on the hills, it's an awesome experience. Island Tapioca has really great scenery. 包山包海, with interesting animals everywhere: Well, I like to chiong sua. So these creepy crawlies don't really affect me. But then again, I'm an OOC. I get to stay in vehicles all day long, and someti...
